Youth Educational Scholarship program
Program description
Reedsport Fairways Foundation awards scholarships to 2- or 4-year college, university, trade or professional/technical school. All are $500 one-time awards to graduating seniors
Student Selection Criteria
- Must be enrolled in the Reedsport Community Charter School
- Must identify a college, university, trade or professional school that the student plans to attend and indicate the field of study.
- Should be active in the community and school activities.
- Should possess a 3.5 GPA accumulative or higher as of the last posted grading period.
- Not be in default on federal student loans or owe mone on a federal grant.
- Annual gross income of the applicant and family must not exceed Federal Current-Year-Low-Income levels.
- Will submit a one-page essay about background, influences and goals.
- Will secure the endorsement (letter of recommendation) and signature of your school administrator.
- Will enroll the fall term after the student graduates from Reedsport Community Charter School.
- High School registrar must initial GPA on RFF application form and student must sign application.
- Include copy of current transcript.
RFF
- Will provide payment directly to the school when proof of registration is received.
- May present the scholarship awards to the winners at the local school site, if requested

- Applications must be postmarked by May 1, 2025
- Selection will be made by the RFF Board of Directors
- Applications must be completely filled out. The original application plus one copy must be submitted in order to be accepted.
Winners will be notified no later than June 1, 2025
